1 Pickup

Your WOW Egypt Tours representative and driver will pick you up early in the morning from your hotel, Nile Cruise, or your location in Luxor. You will be transferred by air-conditioned vehicle to start your sunrise hot air balloon program.

2 Transfer to the Balloon Area

According to your pickup location, you may cross the Nile by motorboat from the East Bank to the West Bank of Luxor. After the crossing, continue by vehicle to the balloon take-off area. The balloon company team will complete the registration and safety instructions before the flight.

3 Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride Over Luxor

Board the hot air balloon and begin your flight over Luxor at sunrise. The flight gives a high view over the West Bank of Luxor, the Nile River, fields, villages, desert edge, and ancient sites around the Theban area.

The balloon route depends on wind direction and weather conditions. During the flight, you may see areas near the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, and other parts of Luxor Attractions from above.

The flight duration is usually around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on weather, wind direction, and aviation instructions on the day of the tour. The pilot and ground crew control the operation according to safety procedures.

4 Landing and Return Transfer

After landing, the ground team will assist you at the landing area. You will then be transferred back by air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel, Nile Cruise, Luxor Airport, Luxor Train Station, or your location in Luxor.
