  • Extra days can be added in Luxor, Aswan, Cairo, or Hurghada before or after the cruise as part of a longer Egypt itinerary.
  • Domestic flights can also be arranged from Cairo to Luxor, Luxor to Cairo, Cairo to Aswan, or Aswan to Cairo according to the cruise direction and available flight schedule.
  • Cabin category, deck level, and cabin availability depend on your booking date, cruise sailing date, and final confirmation.
  • Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride over Luxor can be added at additional charge if available during your stay in Luxor.
  • Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temples can be added at additional charge if available during your stay in Luxor.
  • Sound and Light Show at Philae Temple can be added at additional charge if available during your stay in Aswan.
  • Abu Simbel day tour from Aswan by road or by flight can be added before or after the cruise if your travel schedule allows.
  • Renaissance Cruise can be combined with Cairo sightseeing, Giza Pyramids tour, Abu Simbel road trip, Lake Nasser Cruise, Hurghada beach stay, or a full Egypt tour package.
  • Early booking is recommended because Nile cruises have fixed sailing dates and limited cabin availability, especially during winter and peak travel seasons.
  • You can also check our Luxor Aswan Nile Cruises and Deluxe Nile Cruises for more Nile cruise options.
  • If you are planning a longer Egypt program, you can also check our Egypt Tour Packages and Egypt Travel Packages.

Cruise Resources

Your Renaissance Cruise booking is confirmed once the requested sailing date, sailing direction, cabin category, guide service, transfers, and included sightseeing program have been checked and confirmed, and the required deposit payment has been received.

After payment confirmation, you will receive the final booking details, including the confirmed sailing direction, cabin category, pickup time, meeting point, transfer arrangements, and cruise itinerary.

Please make sure that all traveler names, contact details, travel dates, pickup and drop-off information, and any special requests are provided accurately. Your booking confirmation, itinerary, and invoice will be prepared based on the information submitted.

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your cruise cabin, transfers, sightseeing arrangements, guide services, and all other included services.

The remaining 75% balance may be paid in full or divided into 3 installments of 25% each, depending on your preference. The full booking amount must be completely settled no later than 7 days before the cruise date.

For payment security, the deposit, balance, and any installment payments are accepted exclusively by international bank wire transfer. Complete bank details and payment instructions will be provided after the booking arrangements and availability have been confirmed.

Any bank charges, transaction fees, correspondent bank fees, or transfer fees are the responsibility of the guest. These charges may vary depending on the bank or payment service used, so please check the applicable fees in advance and ensure that the full required amount is received.

Your reservation is only guaranteed once the required deposit has been received and confirmed. An official invoice is issued for every payment received, providing a clear record of the total booking amount, payments made, and remaining balance.

Cancellation fees for Renaissance Cruise depend on the cancellation date and cruise booking conditions.

  • Cancellation more than 75 days before the cruise date: Free cancellation
  • Cancellation from 60 to 75 days before the cruise date: 25% cancellation fee
  • Cancellation from 45 to 60 days before the cruise date: 50% cancellation fee
  • Cancellation from 30 to 44 days before the cruise date: 75% cancellation fee
  • Cancellation less than 30 days before the cruise date or no-show: 100% cancellation fee

Some cruise bookings, peak-season dates, special offers, and confirmed cabin allocations may have stricter cancellation terms according to the cruise policy.

We don’t believe in charging our guests simply because their travel plans have changed unexpectedly. However, once a booking is confirmed, we reserve your cruise cabin, assign a private Egyptologist guide, a private driver, and an air-conditioned vehicle, arrange the required tourism permits, and purchase entrance tickets on your behalf. Any cancellation charge is therefore based on the non-refundable services already booked or paid for, not on a wish to penalize a change of plans.

We will always work to minimize any deduction and refund any recoverable amount back to you.

Children prices are based on the child’s age on the cruise date.

  • 0 - 1.9 years old: Free of charge
  • 2 - 5.9 years old: 25% of the adult price
  • 6 - 11.9 years old: 50% of the adult price
  • 12+ years old: Full adult price

Child pricing applies to children sharing a cabin with adults, according to the cruise cabin policy and availability.

  • Maximum children per cabin: 1 child sharing with 2 adults, or 2 children sharing with 1 adult.
  • 1 child + 1 adult sharing one cabin: No child discount applies. The cabin is charged at the same rate as 2 adults in a double cabin.
  • 2 children in a separate cabin: The cabin is charged at the same rate as 1 adult in a single cabin.

Children must be accompanied by an adult during the cruise, transfers, and sightseeing visits.

The optional Sunrise Hot Air Balloon ride is available for children aged 6 years and above only.

Special group rates are available for large groups, families, student groups, companies, corporate teams, organizations, associations, travel agencies, tour operators, and other private groups booking Renaissance Cruise.

Group pricing can be arranged based on the total number of travelers, number and type of cabins required, sailing date, sailing direction, and any additional services such as private transfers, airport pickup, hotel pickup, private sightseeing, or special arrangements for the group.

Companies and corporate groups can also request customized cruise arrangements for business trips, incentive travel, team travel, private group departures, and organized company holidays.

To receive a customized group quotation, please contact us with your preferred sailing date, sailing direction, number of travelers, required cabin types, pickup and drop-off locations, and any special requests for your group.

Please bring your passport, comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, personal medication, and sufficient cash for personal expenses, drinks not included in the cruise package, optional activities, or tipping.

We also recommend carrying a small day bag for sightseeing visits, especially during excursions in Luxor, Aswan, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and other archaeological sites.

For airport transfers, train station pickup, cruise check-in arrangements, security procedures, and certain sightseeing permissions, passport details may be required before the cruise date.

Please ensure that your passport is valid for your travel dates and send the requested passport information in advance whenever required for cruise arrangements or transportation services.

If you have any special requests, please mention them when sending your booking request so they can be reviewed and arranged in advance whenever possible.

Special requests may include a specific Egyptologist guide language, preferred cabin location or bed configuration, child sharing arrangements, wheelchair or mobility assistance, dietary requirements, allergies, birthday or anniversary arrangements, honeymoon requests, private celebrations, early or late transfers, and different pickup or drop-off locations.

Please also provide details of any medical, accessibility, transportation, or service requirements that may affect the cruise arrangements or sightseeing visits.

All special requests are subject to cruise availability, operating conditions, sailing schedules, safety regulations, supplier approval, and final confirmation. Some requests may involve an additional charge.

Tipping is not included in the Renaissance Cruise price and is entirely optional. It is generally given as a gesture of appreciation for good service during transfers, sightseeing tours, and the cruise.

Suggested tipping ranges:

  • Private driver or representative: $2 - $5 per person per service
  • Cruise staff: $2 - $5 per person per night
  • Private Egyptologist guide: $5 - $10 per person per day

These amounts are only general guidelines and are not mandatory. You may give more or less depending on the level of service and your personal satisfaction.

Tips can be given directly to the driver, representative, guide, or cruise staff at the end of their service or at the end of the cruise.

A Deluxe Nile River Cruise between Luxor and Aswan is the most popular mid-range private Egypt Nile Cruise package, offering upgraded cabin comfort, enhanced on-board facilities, and a higher standard of dining compared to the Standard category. Every Deluxe cruise package through WOW Egypt Tours includes a private professional Egyptologist guide for the full duration of the cruise, a private air-conditioned vehicle and driver for all shore transfers, full-board accommodation on board with breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, a private deluxe cabin with en-suite bathroom and Nile-facing balcony, and all entrance fees to every site on the itinerary. Deluxe Nile Cruise packages start from $907 per person with no hidden costs.

Deluxe Nile River Cruise prices start from $907 per person across both itinerary lengths. Two program options are available: the 4 Days / 3 Nights cruise from Aswan to Luxor, and the 5 Days / 4 Nights cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Rates vary by season, with different prices for summer, winter, Christmas, New Year, and Easter. All prices include the same private guide, full board, private transfers, and all entrance fees regardless of the itinerary selected. Browse all current seasonal rates and availability on the Deluxe Nile Cruises page.

The Deluxe Nile Cruise covers every major monument on the route between Luxor and Aswan. The Luxor East Bank program includes Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. The Luxor West Bank covers the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Sailing between the two cities, the cruise stops at Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo Temple. In Aswan, the program includes Philae Temple, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Aswan High Dam.

Both the 4-day and 5-day Deluxe Nile Cruise programs cover the same core temples and monuments on the same premium Deluxe cruise boats. The 4 Days / 3 Nights cruise departs from Aswan and sails north to Luxor, covering the full route in the most compact format. The 5 Days / 4 Nights cruise departs from Luxor and sails south to Aswan at a slightly more relaxed pace with a little more time at each stop. The choice between the two comes down to your starting city and the number of nights you have available on the river.

The key distinction between a Deluxe Nile Cruise and a Standard Nile Cruise is in the cruise boat and cabin quality. Deluxe category cabins are positioned on the upper deck, are larger and better appointed than Standard cabins, and include a private Nile-facing balcony, improved furnishings, and better deck positioning throughout. The dining experience on Deluxe cruise boats is also improved, with a wider menu selection and better quality food and presentation. All private services including the Egyptologist guide, private vehicle, and entrance fees remain identical across both categories.

Deluxe Nile Cruises from Luxor depart every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday. Deluxe Nile Cruises from Aswan depart every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday depending on the vessel. The high frequency of departures in both directions means the WOW Team can fit a Deluxe Nile Cruise into almost any travel schedule across 2026, 2027, and 2028. Always verify the specific departure schedule of your chosen cruise boat on its individual page before booking, as schedules vary slightly by vessel.

WOW Egypt Tours offers four categories of Luxor and Aswan Nile Cruise, all including the same private Egyptologist guide, private vehicle, full board, and entrance fees. The Standard Nile Cruise from $695 per person is the most accessible entry point. The Deluxe Nile Cruise from $907 per person is the most popular mid-range choice with upper deck cabins and Nile-facing balconies. The Ultra-Deluxe Nile Cruise steps up further in cabin size, deck facilities, and dining quality, while the Luxury Nile Cruise is the most premium option on the river. For a completely private and intimate sailing experience on a smaller traditional boat, a Dahabiya Nile River Cruise is also available from $1,559 per person.

Yes on both counts. An optional excursion to the Abu Simbel Temples by road or by domestic flight can be arranged from Aswan as an add-on to any Deluxe Nile Cruise itinerary. For travelers wanting the full southern Egypt experience by water, the WOW Team can combine a Deluxe Nile Cruise with a Lake Nasser Cruise from Aswan all the way to Abu Simbel in one seamless package, covering the Nubian temples of Lake Nasser that are only accessible by water.

Yes. A Deluxe Nile Cruise pairs perfectly with additional Egypt destinations before or after the sailing. Nights in Cairo for the Pyramids of Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and Khan el-Khalili can be added via a one-hour domestic flight to Luxor or Aswan. A beach extension in Hurghada on the Red Sea coast connects to Luxor by short domestic flight or private road transfer. Extra nights in Aswan cover Elephantine Island, Kitchener's Island, and the Nubian villages, while extra nights in Luxor allow additional West Bank visits. Browse all combination options in the Egypt tour packages or Egypt travel packages sections.

To book, contact WOW Egypt Tours via the contact page, WhatsApp, or email at booking@WOWEgyptTours.com with your preferred travel dates, group size, itinerary direction, and any optional extras you want included. A dedicated advisor confirms Deluxe cabin availability on your preferred vessel, provides a clear itemized quote, and secures your booking with a deposit. The balance is payable before or upon arrival in Egypt with no hidden charges throughout. Browse all available Deluxe cruise boats and current pricing on the Deluxe Nile Cruises page, or use the Tailor-Made Experience tool to build a custom Egypt package around your cruise.
